How it works
Our Electrical Service Process
Good electrical work is careful testing, tight connections and following the code. Here is what happens from the moment you send the form to the final check.
Quick answer
You send a short form, a local electrician reaches out to set a visit, and they test to find the real cause. You get the fix and the price before any work starts. Jobs that need a permit get one. Every circuit touched is tested before they leave. Ocala Electrician is a referral service that connects you with that independent local electrician.
The Steps
- Send your request
Use the quote form to tell us what is going on, your ZIP code and the best way to reach you. A photo of the panel or the problem spot helps. Check the same day box if you need help today.
- Your electrician reaches out
A local electrician contacts you to set a time. Hours are Monday through Friday 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM.
- They listen first
At the visit, they ask when the problem started, what you have noticed and what changed. A smell, a sound or a breaker that trips only when the AC starts are all useful clues.
- They test, not guess
That means checking voltage, looking for loose or burned connections, testing breakers and GFCIs, and measuring the load on the circuit.
- You get the fix and price first
You hear what failed, why and what it costs before work starts. For bigger jobs like panels, rewires and generators, you get the scope in writing.
- Permits when required
Panels, new circuits, generators and many other jobs need a permit from the City of Ocala or Marion County. Your electrician pulls it and schedules the inspection.
- The work gets done
Connections are made tight, devices are listed for the job, and outdoor work is sealed against Florida rain.
- Test and walk through
Every circuit touched is tested. You see what was done and get labels on any changed breakers.
What You Can Do Before the Visit
- Note which outlets, lights or rooms are affected.
- Check for a tripped GFCI or breaker, but reset each only once.
- Clear a path to the panel.
- Keep pets away from the work area.
- Have a photo of the panel label ready if you can.
